Mas Tacos: Experience the Best Mexican Food in Highland, IN

I got the nachos with pork and fries yesterday. First off, the nachos come in a medium sized pizza box, so this is a lot of nachos. Next the entire time portion is covered in real cheese, so there is not situation where you run out of cheese in this scenario. Lastly, all of this combined with their delicious pork, makes this the best nachos I've ever had. Even warmed up the next day they are still good. I went with a few guys our office who got tacos and the Mas Special. They were very happy with their meals as well.

I tried the nachos for the first time and it won't be the last. Best in the area way better than the spot in EC if you know what I mean. This family knows what they're doing and very clean also.

I wanted to try somewhere close to me, so my significant other and I landed here. Unfortunately, it was a Carry Out place. I walked inside and looked at the menu on the wall. I went to the counter to order. The Favorites section stated All favorites come with a choice one meat (unless otherwise stated). From that section, the Tacos were $2.89 each and were Flour, Corn, or Hard Shell. I went with a Steak Flour and a Chicken Flour. From the Sides section, I got a Rice for $2.49. I got a Mas Special for $7.49. It was a Tray of rice topped with choice of meat, with lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream and jalapeños. For the meat, I chose Chicken. The Burritos were $7.99 and Stuffed with choice of meat beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and sour cream. I got one with Chicken. I was told the order would take 20 minutes. I sat down for a moment while I waited. I was offered complimentary sauce. I didn’t pass that up. We got home and I could hardly wait to start. The Tacos came with limes. The Steak Flour had a lot of flavor. I enjoyed it. It was better with lime. The Chicken Flour didn’t have as much flavor. It was okay. It was also better with lime. The Rice was bland. I wasn’t impressed. The Mas Special had ingredients piled throughout. It was fairly good. The Burrito was a great size. There was a pepper included with it on the side. They were both decent. I was given two complimentary green sauces and two complimentary red sauces. I tried each one and they were okay. The service was great. I didn’t have any issues. Overall, I had a decent experience. When I tell you I have had many in this town just shy 1 and half in Indiana..this is top notch food hot and a lot for your dollar ..we work hard to get what we pay for and they don't disappoint!! Service quality quantity is at 1000x!! Blessings for many more years of business watching tictok video made me go I was like wait this can't be true but we went and bam !!! I am in love never going anywhere again .. instant love ...

Best Mexican food in town. The guy who takes the orders is so awesome and pleasant. I don't get this type of service anymore. Reasonable prices too!!!

Finally got to visit a former student whose family owns Mas Tacos. Not only was it nice to see her, but the food was heavenly. Big portions, especially the nachos in a box. OMG…The nacho chips were extra crunchy, with toppings covering almost every bite. We were able to eat at the restaurant; however, there isn’t an abundance of seating, so keep in mind you may need to do carry out if the seats are all taken up. Strongly recommend!
